The in-house R & D department continuously strives to offer a variety of icecreams and frozen dessert flavours. The plants have been awarded several quality benchmarks which are a proof of our great ice cream quality and hygiene. Our constant efforts towards ensuring the strict adherence to international quality standards in manufacturing has enabled export of Vadilal icecreams to markets like USA also.
In each unit, Vadilal uses modern sophisticated machinery for making high quality ice creams. The mix preparation section of the factory utilizes latest machinery like Homogenizer and Pasteurizer. The sophisticated imported homogenizer and the automatic panel based Pasteurizer ensures food safety.
A raw material processing section provides very pure and processed raw material to the freezing section. In the raw material processing section, with the help of an ultramodern oven and machinery for heating and other treatments, fruits and nuts are procured fit for consumption making it safe for human consumption.
Vadilal’s cones are produced untouched by hands since they utilize an automatic cone filling machine ensuring there is less flaws and utter perfection. They also use internationally acclaimed extrusion technology for the icecream manufacturing process. In the Icecream industry, utmost attention has to be given to the production process, maintaining highest cleanliness and hygiene of the plant.
Vadilal uses the CIP system to ensure that their plants are safe. After every production shift, the plant undergoes CIP and every pipeline, pasteurizer, homogenizer storage tank, freezer, balance tank and ice cream filler is sterilized using steam. Every worker in each plant is trained for their work and they follow strict norms for cleanliness and hygiene during production of ice cream.
The staffs who are involved in production undergo daily checks for their personal hygiene. Ice Cream is shifted from production section to dispatch section using FIFO SYSTEM.
